Boise Valley Fly

The public is encouraged to attend and share the years of knowledge and experience the Boise Valley Fly Fishermen have to offer.The Boise Valley Fishermen meet the second Thursday of the month at the Boise Elks Club at 6608 West Fairview Avenue. The Elks have a $2.00 taco night from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM on this evening, in which we are invited to participate.

Fly tying and fly casting practice/instruction typically begins around 6:30, and the club meeting begins at 7:30. Meetings typically include club topics followed by a presentation by various guests or some of our own, “distinguished” club members. The meeting is concluded by a great raffle — few participants go home empty-handed! Meetings typically conclude at approximately 8:30 to 9:00.
